Rebecca Tanda (b.1994) is a visual artist working primarily with glass. With this material as her focal point, she challenges our material preconceptions and re-imagines our relationship to the past, place and materiality. Rebecca is the recipient of the Charles A. Dana Foundation Glass Scholarship in 2019 and the Lee Woo Sing College Arts & Culture Grant in 2016. She was an artist in residence at Franconia Sculpture Park (2018, USA), the Foundation Fiminco (2020-2021, FR), the American Center for Art & Culture Paris (2021-2022, FR) and at s12 (2023, NO). Recent and forthcoming exhibitions include the Ireland Glass Biennale 2023, Glass Art Society (GAS) Conference Exhibition 2024, and at MAD Brussels in 2024 as part of the Brussels Jewellery Week.
In 2024 she founded Feuer am Fürstenweg, a glass studio in Innsbruck, Austria. Link here
